Mexico & Canada International Learning Experience

Why people come to the Renison Institute
  of Ministry

Participants come to learn and grow. They come back because of leaders and content that are engaging and consistently highly rated, and because of the community, joy, encouragement, and challenges they experience with other participants - people like you.

Ann Lay from Caledon says:

From the beginning the warmth of hospitality is so engaging that one immediately is made feel at home.  The welcome personally from the Director, gives one the sense that one is not only expected, but special preparations have been made for our arrival.  The hospitality continues in class where we have the opportunity to freely share opinions and perspectives on various issues.

Rob Lofthouse from Waterloo reflects:

My experience has been an unqualified success. I strongly believe that the Christian Church, in its basic outreach, should be increasingly active in the area of "theological literacy" for the laity as well as clergy, but as a lay member it is difficult to find invitations and opportunities to work at this. The courses and workshops I have participated in have been flexible, varied, stimulating, and challenging. Above all they have been accessible, in scheduling and in content. I feel my faith has been strengthened through understanding, and that I am a more fully committed Christian because of the gift that is the Renison Institute of Ministry.

Nancy Scott from Elora writes:

The Renison Institute of Ministry is a place where I have felt accepted. My doubts and challenges are not seen as threats but as sources of energy. RIM provides an atmosphere of expectancy and joy.
