Faith and Light International brings together 1470 communities in 77 countries. http://www.foietlumiere.org/site/english/ It is a sister organisation to L’Arche, an international network of faith-based communities creating homes and day programs with people who have developmental disabilities. The word “L’Arche” is French for “the ark,” referring to Noah’s ark, the biblical symbol of deliverance and a place of safety.
